My Rant...

Well on Thursday I did not have time for YogaX so I just did some stretching. Which was good because I am coming down with a cold I was exhausted. So a lite day was a good thing.

Today I did legs and back. It kicked my butt. I got up at 5:30 am to get my workout in. That is a little early for me but that was the only time I could fit it in. Then I had a doubles tennis match which was really fun. Tennis is my first love.

My nutrition is going really well. Two weeks of clean eating and I feel great (except for my cold).

Well I have a little rant. You know how everyone is on a diet. Some type of diet whether it is healthy or not. I mean educated people make the stupidest decisions when they decide to go on a diet.

I follow a certain blog. I really enjoy the author and she is a Christian. But today she posted her weight loss diet and she is so excited about it. But after reading her plan I was shocked. It is almost 70-75% protein. No carbs, and veggies only at dinner. I mean she has like 4 protein shakes a day. I was like WHAT! and the best part is she claims to be under the guidance of a natural health doctor. IMO she is going to crash and burn and end up fatter than she started.

So peeps we need to realize that nutrition doesn't have to be torture. It doesn't have to be insane. We can make healthy, well balanced choices and achieve our weight loss goals. And the best part is it will be weight loss that lasts.
